Even though I haven’t been posting here regularly for the past few days, we have not forgotten to do our “Thankfuls”.  Micah helps us remember each day and often has more than one to share.  :)  We did miss one day, but I am thankful that it doesn’t really matter.  Heehee!  So, to keep it up to date, here are the recent days…

Thankfulness Day 12

Daddy is thankful for the cool animals, trees, and flowers we got to see.  (We went to the zoo and had a wonderful time!)

Mommy is thankful for special outings we can have together as a family.

Micah is thankful for “a good house whee we can eat and stay alive”.

Heidi is thankful for drinks.

Thankfulness Day 13

Daddy is thankful that we have a grill to cook food on.  (We got one this summer and have loved having it!)

Mommy is thankful her precious children!

Micah is thankful for “plants and everything that God made”.

Heidi is thankful for Kelly’s Birthday party.

Thankfulness Day 14

Daddy is thankful that all it takes to talk to God is to pray.

Mommy is thankful for Jesus dying on the cross for our sins.

Micah is thankful for Cookie Crisp cereal.

Heidi is thankful for princesses.

Thankfulness Day 15

Daddy is thankful for the country we live in.

Mommy is thankful for the talents God gives us.

Micah is thankful for electricity so we can see in the dark.

Heidi is thankful for “family and Eisley”.

Thankfulness Day 16

Daddy is thankful that Mommy can sew and make clothes.

Mommy is thankful that Daddy can help lead us in worship at home and at church.

Micah is thankful for cheese sandwiches and Mommy.

Heidi is thankful for cheese.

We weren’t home for dinner on Wednesday night because of church and we forgot at lunch so we had to double up.  :)

Daddy is thankful to have a job with flexibility to spend time with family, and he is thankful that we have our car, Red.

Mommy is thankful she can stay home with her kiddos and spend time with them, and very thankful for sweets.  :)

Micah is thankful for Mommy making the family food.  :)  We had a favorite tonight!  He is also thankful for drinks.

Heidi is thankful for her friend, Kacey, and toys.

Daddy is thankful for music.

Mommy is thankful for our church.

Micah is thankful for Corbin and Austin (his friends).

Heidi is thankful for Kelly.   She loves her Kelly Krupp and would go live at her house if we let her!

Daddy is thankful for our church family.

Mommy is thankful for friends.

Micah is thankful for video games on the wii and his Leapster.  :)

Heidi is thankful for food.

Daddy is thankful for a house we can come home to.

Mommy is thankful for clothes that fit and more than plenty of them.

Micah is thankful for hot dogs.  (Gotta appreciate a kid’s thankfulness for a favorite food )

Heidi is thankful for Minnie Mouse-her gal she loves to carry around and sleep with along with many other stuffed bed buddies.

Daddy is thankful for good food to eat.

Mommy is thankful for beautiful weather to enjoy.  We could play outside forever on days like this!

Micah is thankful for Sara, his “girlfriend”.  :)  She is a high school student in our church that we love and Micah is pretty sure she’s the girl for him.

Heidi is thankful for “bubba” and Eisley.  (So sweet!)

Daddy is thankful for sweet little Eisley.

Mommy is thankful for food to eat, even foods we like.

Micah is thankful for treats.

Heidi is thankful for Daddy.

Daddy is thankful for his little princess, Heidi.

 
Mommy is thankful for our home where we can all be together.

Micah is thankful that his Lego are all back together after them being all pulled apart (with the help of Mommy and Daddy after a little sister got to them…I see a pattern forming)

Daddy is thankful for Micah and how he is growing to be a strong boy who honor God.

Mommy is thankful that we are all healthy.

Micah is thankful for his Legos.  (Micah recently had a birthday and has gotten lots of new Legos!)

Heidi is thankful for her Hedgehog Family.   (Heidi recently got this cute little family of Calico Critters.)

Almost a year since I posted….well, life happens and this was not the most important thing to get to.  I want to return to this for the sake of recording what we are doing together as a family and keep track of homeschooling stuff with the kiddos.  So ,eventually I will give this place a complete overhaul, but for now it is how it shall be.

Today is November 1st and as a family we are discussing thankfulness.  Each day at dinner (or lunch), we talk about how God has blessed us and each family member is sharing one thing they are thankful for.  I am making a tree and we are going to write our thoughts on leaves to attach to it.  But for now, here is day one.

Daddy – is thankful for Mommy.

Mommy is thankful for Daddy.

Micah is thankful for Mommy and Daddy.

Heidi is thankful for pasta.  :) Can you guess what we are eating for dinner?!?
